I just guess that a revenge story in a multi-faction world is more engaging to me than saving some fictional tribe or looking for fictional family members. The time has come for the Final piece of DLC to come out for the latest edition of the Fallout franchise, Fallout New Vegas. Old World Blues is also a separate open world but the setting is based on wacky humorous sci-fi (more Mars Attacks than Dr. I was kind of sick of the open world formula by the time I got to it but I powered through it because I liked the setting (Utah/Arizona canyons). Honest Hearts has a separate distinct open world with it’s own separate story that is more about religion and social dynamics than nukes and sci-fi. Lonesome Road is mostly a linear power fantasy and I liked the narrative so the corridor-like outdoor levels didn’t bother me much. I only completed Lonesome Road and Honest Hearts so don’t take my opinion too seriously.
